About the Society for Improvisation in Classical Music
The Society for Improvisation in Classical Music, abbreviated SICM, was founded in 2024 and Mr. Jiří Pazour became its first president. The aim of the SICM is to promote the field of improvisation in classical music by creating a platform for all those interested in this field of music, i.e. the general public and the professional community. For this purpose, it strives to create professional and non-professional artistic activities, to develop and support educational processes in the field of musical improvisation and to implement other activities leading to the fulfillment of its goals.

O Společnosti pro improvizaci v klasické hudbě
Společnost pro improvizaci v klasické hudbě, zkráceně SICM (z anglické verze názvu Society for Improvisation in Classical Music), byla založena v roce 2024 a jejím prvním předsedou se stal Mgr. Jiří Pazour. Cílem SICM je podpora oboru improvizace v klasické hudbě vytvořením platformy pro všechny zájemce o tuto hudební oblast, tzn. nejširší veřejnost i odbornou obec. Za tímto účelem usiluje o vytváření profesionálních i neprofesionálních uměleckých aktivit, rozvíjení a podporu vzdělávacích procesů v oblasti hudební improvizace a o realizaci dalších činností vedoucích k naplnění svých cílů.

Jeunesses Musicales (Musical Youth) of the Czech Republic
The Musical Youth of the Czech Republic is a non-profit organization that brings together young people interested in culture and the arts and provides them with opportunities to meet through regular cultural activities, as well as at festivals, summer camps, seminars, concerts, and theatre performances, where they develop their artistic talents
It is one of 73 member organizations of Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI), which promote and support music among young people around the world. The Czech organization differs from most others in that it gives significant space not only to music, but also to other artistic disciplines - such as theatre, dance, literature, and visual arts.
The Musical Youth of the Czech Republic has long been supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic for its work with children and youth and has repeatedly received awards from the Ministry for this activity.
In 2026, the Musical Youth of the Czech Republic celebrates 55 years of its continuous existence.

Hudební mládež České republiky
Hudební mládež ČR je nezisková organizace, která sdružuje mladé lidi se zájmem o kulturu a umění a dává jim možnost setkávat se při pravidelné kulturní činnosti a na festivalech, letních táborech, seminářích, koncertech, divadelních představeních, kde rozvíjejí své umělecké talenty.
HM ČR je jednou z 73 členských organizací Jeunnesses Musicales International (JMI), které propagují a podporují hudbu mezi mladými lidmi po celém světě. Česká HM se od většiny ostatních liší tím, že v rámci své činnosti dává hodně prostoru nejen hudbě, ale i dalším uměleckým disciplínám - divadlo, tanec, literatura, výtvarná umění.
Hudební mládež ČR je dlouhodobě podporována Ministerstvem školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy ČR za svou práci s dětmi a mládeží a získala od něj opakovaně ocenění za tuto činnost.
V roce 2026 oslavuje Hudební mládež ČR 55 let své kontinuální existence.
